About Us

The Flower Bowl was founded in Hillsborough, Sheffield some time in the 1940's by a young Margaret Windley. She went on to marry Albert Nelson who joined her in the business after the war and together they ran the shop until their retirement in the early 1970's.

Since then The Flower Bowl has had just 2 other owners and I am now the 4th. Although the business has moved premises a couple of times over the years we have always been in the centre of the busy Hillsborough shopping area. We would like to think that after all these years we are a part of the community of Sheffield 6.

We have been a member of the Interflora relay network for over 40 years but our core business as an independent florist is providing flowers for a variety of occasions for our customers in Sheffield. We believe in old fashioned customer service, the best quality flowers and plants and the skills of our very talented members of staff.
